Names & Nomenclature — Ziziphus Seed, sold as Ziziphus Seed (Suan Zao Ren) and declared on the label as Ziziphus Seed / Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa), is the seed of sour jujube, botanically Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu ex H.F.Chow of the family Rhamnaceae; the seed is known pharmacopeially as Ziziphi spinosae semen; in Traditional Chinese Medicine it is 酸枣仁 (suān zǎo rén), and in Ayurveda the jujube is the Sanskrit Badara (Hindi Ber), the sour jujube seed having no distinct classical Sanskrit name; in German it is Chinesische Jujube or Suan Zao Ren, in Spanish semilla de azufaifo silvestre or suan zao ren, and in French graine de jujubier épineux or suan zao ren; and its common English names include sour jujube seed, spiny jujube seed, ziziphus seed, and suan zao ren.

Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
