In Chinese tradition the peel of the tangerine grows more precious with age, and chen pi, literally aged peel, is prized the longer it is stored.

Names & Nomenclature — Chen Pi, sold as Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel) and declared on the label as Chen Pi / Tangerine Peel (Citrus reticulata), is botanically Citrus reticulata Blanco of the family Rutaceae (the citrus family); its aged peel is known pharmacopeially as Citri reticulatae pericarpium; in Traditional Chinese Medicine the aged peel is 陈皮 (chén pí) and the green peel 青皮 (qīng pí), while in Ayurveda mandarin is loosely the Sanskrit Nāraṅga (Hindi Santra); in German it is Mandarinenschale, in Spanish cáscara de mandarina, and in French écorce de mandarine; and its common English names include aged tangerine peel, mandarin peel, and chen pi.

Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
