These are wild; dried, food-grade and intended for human consumption; untreated—no fungicides, pesticides, coatings, dyes, or seed treatments; and whole, mature seeds, cleaned and suitable for brewing. They are not intended for planting, nor are they capable of germinating and they are not planting seeds.

Names & Nomenclature — Carrot Seed, sold as Carrot Seed and declared on the label as Carrot Seed (Daucus carota), is the seed of wild carrot, botanically Daucus carota L. of the family Apiaceae (the carrot family); in Traditional Chinese Medicine the seed is 南鹤虱 (nán hè shī), and in Ayurveda the plant is the Sanskrit Gṛñjana (Hindi Gajar); in German it is Möhrensamen or Wilde Möhre, in Spanish semilla de zanahoria or zanahoria silvestre, and in French graine de carotte or carotte sauvage; and its common English names include wild carrot seed, Queen Anne's lace, and bird's nest.

All discretionary return requests must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Return requests are evaluated individually and are not automatically approved. To qualify for consideration, items must be unopened, unused, unaltered, and in their original sealed packaging. Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
