Names & Nomenclature — Barley Grass, sold as Barley Grass and declared on the label as Barley Grass (Hordeum vulgare), is the young leaf of barley, botanically Hordeum vulgare L. of the family Poaceae (the grass family); the grass has no standard pharmacopeial Latin name (sprouted barley is the TCM 麦芽, mài yá); in Traditional Chinese Medicine barley is 大麦 (dà mài), and in Ayurveda it is the Sanskrit Yava (Hindi Jau); in German it is Gerstengras, in Spanish hierba de cebada, and in French herbe d'orge; and its common English names include barley leaf and green barley.

Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
