Names & Nomenclature — Amaranth, sold as Amaranth and declared on the label as Amaranth (Amaranthus spp.), is botanically the genus Amaranthus L. (chiefly A. caudatus, A. cruentus, and A. hypochondriacus) of the family Amaranthaceae; it has no single standard pharmacopeial Latin name; in Traditional Chinese Medicine the herb is 苋 (xiàn, 苋菜) with its seed 苋实, and in Ayurveda the Sanskrit Taṇḍulīya or Rājagira (Hindi Chaulai, Rajgira); in German it is Amarant or Fuchsschwanz, in Spanish amaranto or bledo, and in French amarante; and its common English names include pigweed, love-lies-bleeding, callaloo, and rajgira.

All discretionary return requests must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Return requests are evaluated individually and are not automatically approved. To qualify for consideration, items must be unopened, unused, unaltered, and in their original sealed packaging. Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
