Names & Nomenclature — Valerian, sold as Valerian and declared on the label as Valerian (Valeriana officinalis), is botanically Valeriana officinalis L. of the family Caprifoliaceae (formerly Valerianaceae); its root is known pharmacopeially as Valerianae radix; in Traditional Chinese Medicine it is 缬草 (xié cǎo), and in Ayurveda the related Valeriana jatamansi is known as Tagara, this European species having no distinct classical Sanskrit name; in German it is Baldrian or Echter Baldrian, in Spanish valeriana, and in French valériane or valériane officinale; and its common English names include valerian, garden valerian, all-heal, and setwall.

Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
