Names & Nomenclature — Sarsaparilla, sold as Sarsaparilla and declared on the label as Sarsaparilla (Smilax ornata), is botanically Smilax ornata Lem. of the family Smilacaceae — distinct from Indian sarsaparilla (Hemidesmus indicus); its root is known pharmacopeially as Sarsaparillae radix; the related Smilax glabra is the Traditional Chinese Medicine Tu Fu Ling (土茯苓), this species having no distinct classical Chinese or Ayurvedic name; in German it is Sarsaparille or Stechwinde, in Spanish zarzaparrilla, and in French salsepareille; and its common English names include sarsaparilla, Jamaican sarsaparilla, and smilax.

Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
