Names & Nomenclature — Trichosanthes, sold as Katsura-uri (Japanese Melon) and declared on the label as Katsura-uri / Japanese Melon (Trichosanthes kirilowii), is botanically Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. of the family Cucurbitaceae (the gourd family); its fruit is known pharmacopeially as Trichosanthis fructus and its root as Trichosanthis radix; in Traditional Chinese Medicine the fruit is 瓜蒌 (guā lóu) and the root 天花粉 (tiān huā fěn), and it has no classical Ayurvedic name; in German it is Chinesische Schlangengurke, in Spanish trichosanthes or gua lou, and in French trichosanthe or gua lou; and its common English names include Chinese cucumber, snake gourd, gua lou, and tian hua fen.

All discretionary return requests must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Return requests are evaluated individually and are not automatically approved. To qualify for consideration, items must be unopened, unused, unaltered, and in their original sealed packaging. Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
