Benzoin is the fragrant resin bled from the bark of the styrax tree, hardening into amber tears that smell of warm vanilla and old churches.

Names & Nomenclature — Benzoin, sold as Benzoin and declared on the label as Benzoin (Styrax benzoin), is botanically Styrax benzoin Dryand. of the family Styracaceae; its balsamic resin is known pharmacopeially as Benzoe (Sumatra benzoin, resina benzoe); in Traditional Chinese Medicine it is 安息香 (ān xī xiāng), and in India it is known by the Hindi Loban or Sambrani (no distinct classical Sanskrit name); in German it is Benzoe or Benzoeharz, in Spanish benjuí, and in French benjoin; and its common English names include gum benzoin, gum benjamin, and loban.

All discretionary return requests must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Return requests are evaluated individually and are not automatically approved. To qualify for consideration, items must be unopened, unused, unaltered, and in their original sealed packaging. Approved returns must be shipped within ten (10) calendar days of written return authorization. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on discretionary returns unless otherwise agreed.
